Customer Management (Value Stream Lead)

The Value Stream Lead (VSL) is assigned to Program Management (PM), with direct leadership from the PM Director and indirect leadership from General Manager, Sales, and Finance. The VSL's primary function is to provide a key point of contact, support and communication to customers and Atlantis other departments to include Planning, Shipping, Accounting, Operations, Outside Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Leadership. Scope:
This is a high-profile position at Atlantis that requires professional interactions between multiple levels in the customer's organization and Atlantis leadership, sales, and operations. The position requires excellent organizational skills and interpersonal discipline. The individual must be able to work productively and communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff, indirect and direct personnel from a position of teamwork. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must perform well under pressure and maintain flexibility to changing business priorities. Requires initiative, judgment and competency producing and managing a variety of written/electronic materials. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Support introductory relationship building, via calls, emails, meetings with customers for new project kick off on behalf of Atlantis. Comprehend, understand, and adapt to customer specific protocol. Negotiate, manage conflict, and develop consensus with customer key interface/s. Create/manage quotations, orders, and CRM activities on assigned customer base. Support includes data entry, IQMS (Atlantis ERP) project set up, CRM data, BOM accuracy, and new vendor/account processing. Maintain relevant communications for given project or opportunity. Support planning/scheduling team to maintain existing customer accounts, forecasts, PO's, SO's, ECN's, project scope changes with prompt and courteous service. Support of company sponsored events or miscellaneous administrative tasks. Other support related duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience - Associates of Business Administration required plus five years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Math Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Reasoning Abilities - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of ERP systems; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
