Job Responsibilities
As the Nursing Coordinator, your responsibilities include:
Scheduling nursing staff and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure compliance with state regulations and to meet company budgetary guidelines
Interviewing and hiring CNAs
Ensuring nursing/CNA time is accurate by completing any corrections or additions before payroll deadlines
Completing necessary human resources paperwork for nursing/CNA status changes and resignations/terminations
Monitoring nursing/CNA attendance and completing any necessary attendance related disciplinary actions
Scheduling resident transportation to/from appointments and activities
Other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved CNA or nursing program preferred
Current valid Delaware CNA certificate preferred
Current CPR/First Aide Certification
Experience with staff scheduling in a long-term care setting, strongly preferred
Experience with computer documentation and electronic medical records, preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
