For sale! Antique 4 String Banjo No Case Unknown Maker Item Description Here is a great antique musical instrument for your buying consideration. Recently acquired it at an estate sale. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself. Great old 4 string banjo for your consideration. Not sure of the make. Could be a Vega, Weymann, Gibson, Ludwig or some other make. The head on the banjo looks most like a Vega, but you decide what make it is before acquiring the banjo. Any help in determining the maker and model of this banjo would be appreciated. Your identity would be kept anonymous. Thanks. Beautiful made musical instrument that still looks very good. There are two types of tuners on the banjo. Two that are a plastic and the other two are made of some sort of metal. The action on the fingerboard looks good. The fret bars are all in place. There is a 1.5" inch mark on the finger board by the second mica mark. The banjo is 30" long, by 11" across, by 2-5/8" wide. The head on the banjo looks intact, I see no rips or tears. There is no bridge on this banjo and it did not come in a case. What you see is what you get. This musical instrument is not represented to be in playing condition. There most likely will need to be refurbishing done to make this instrument playable again. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
