La Pacifc Banjo Ukulele 4 String Circa 1920s Item Description Here is a great antique banjo ukulele for your buying consideration. W ould make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself! Great old 4 string banjole for your consideration. This is a La Pacific model that was put out by the Globe Musical Instrument Company that was based in the Chicago, IL area from 1915 to 1937. Beautiful made musical instrument that still looks very good. The body appears to be made of a maple wood. Old painting on the head and body of the piece. The back plate is intact, a little loose from the rest of the instrument. Neck is tightly secured to the body of the banjo mandolin. The two lower metal frets are missing. Playing action is off a little as the neck is warped, which these instruments were notorious for. The banjo ukulele is 21" long, by 7" across, by 2.25" wide. The head is 5.5" across. The head on the banjo looks intact, we see no rips or tears. The bridge is on the banjo is in place, and is intact. What you see is what you get. Fourstrings are on the banjo mandolin, but old, one keeps coming undone, and you should expect to have to replace them. This musical instrument is not represented to be in playing condition.
